The App does not directly collect personally identifiable information such as names, email addresses, or account credentials. However, limited non-personal data may be collected automatically, including app usage data, device information such as device model, operating system version, and unique identifiers, as well as crash and diagnostic data.
2. Third-Party Services
The App may use third-party services to support functionality, analytics, performance monitoring, and payment processing. These services may include Google Firebase, Google Analytics, and Google Play Billing. These third parties operate under their own privacy policies.
3. Payments and Purchases
The Application operates on a "Try before you buy" basis. After the initial 14-day trial period, a one-time purchase is required for continued use. We do not collect, store, or process your financial information (such as credit card numbers). All transactions are handled exclusively and securely by Google Play's billing system. We only receive a transaction receipt to verify your license status.
4. Data Storage
All shopping lists, meal plans, and related data are stored locally on the user's device. The developer does not store, access, or back up this data on external servers. Uninstalling the App will remove all locally stored data.
5. Legal Basis for Processing
Where applicable, data processing is carried out on the basis of legitimate interest in improving app functionality and performance, and user consent where required by law.
6. User Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights under data protection laws including UK GDPR, EU GDPR, and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). As no user accounts are created and data is stored locally, most data can be removed by uninstalling the App.
